Kobe Bryant, a well known NBA Basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers, led his team to another victory in the Western Conference Finals. He scored a total of 40 points against the Denver Nuggets. It also includes six important free throws and two crucial points in the final 30 seconds of the 4th quarter, which lifted the Lakers to a 105-103, win over the Nuggets. His team was back in action after 48 hours of closing out the Houston Rockets in a seven game semifinal playoffs. Coach Phil Jackson said that Kobe Bryant was the key to their victory in today’s game.

Bryant said that once he had sensed that his team didn’t have the energy, he had to take it all by himself in order to lead his team to a win. Even though he sustained an injury in his right ring finger, it was not enough to keep him down during the game.

As for the Nuggets team, Carmelo Anthony scored 36 points and Chauncey Billups added 18 for a combined 54 points. According to George Karl, their coach, he said that there are no moral victories in playoff basketball. The Denver Nuggets have now lost a total of 11 consecutive playoff games to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kobe Bryant’s coach Phil Jackson said that they won the game on high energy, and they got a couple stops that helped them sealed the victory. Kobe said that playing the game was a lot of fun, and that he gave his best shot in order to win.
