The FIA Formula One World Championship may be the most watched motor sport of all race fanatics in the entire world. Who wouldn’t? Other than the gorgeous F1 drivers riding their well-known automobiles, the thrill of hearing the sound of an engine roaring at the starting line can make your heart beat fast. The adrenaline rush of this exciting motor sport can make you stand in awe of the exceptional driving skills being shown by these 24 multi-national drivers. Among such that has made a mark in racing history are the famous Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
Among these 3 racers though, none is as legendary as the famous German race driver Michael Schumacher. Holds the most won championships in the 60 years of Formula One racing history, seven (7) to be exact, Schumacher stands as the model for F1 success. Driving for Benetton in 1994 and Ferrari in 2000, he was “statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen”. With such great records in racing history, it’s no wonder you too will get inspired in racing as well. Though driving on top speed is not advisable on public highways, it is still invigorating to feel the thrill of adrenalin flowing through your veins when you increase driving velocity on open roads.
Last 2008, the World Championship was won by the youngest F1 racer ever, British national Lewis Hamilton. Aside from his age, he is commonly famous because of his aggressive and interesting driving style. He commonly over steers to control the car’s direction change making it look like he’s driving with the car “alive”. This eventually caught the attention of critics as a dangerous driving style. Lewis Hamilton is a race car driver that has made aspiring drivers hope in becoming champions no matter what age.
Lastly, 2009 British World Champion, Jenson Button, won six of the seven races he joined, almost reaching the record achieved by Schumacher in his previous races. His smooth driving style and effective strategy on pit stops can make you follow the same driving style as he does. For one, tires can be conserved for a very long time. Button’s driving has showed his fans how intelligence is also vital in winning competitions.
Formula one driving has caught a lot of attention from avid race fans because of the awesome driving skills and the thrill of speed it entails. You too might feel the rush and enjoyment of this exciting motor sport that has wowed the world in a whole new way.

Last September 28, 2009, I caught a glimpse of the opening of F1 Singapore Grand Prix, which was held in Singapore, on TV and I found it amazing. As was publicized, it was Singapore’s First Grand Prix event and the first night race in F1 history. It was cool to see drivers racing against each other in the familiar setting of the race track, but with a new night atmosphere. For the first time, the formula one racets sped with the illumination generated by a specially recreated light just for F1 2009. The total numbers of lighting projectors were almost 1,500 and they were four times brighter than the other average sports stadium lights. These lights enabled F1 racers to see clearly and drive accurately through the tracks at top acceleration. Undoubtedly, this historic event is just one of the many things to look forward to for Formula One Racing. The Singapore night race was also recreated in the form of a game. And for the first time ever, all gamers will be able to experience the excitement of being part of the F1 race.

The adrenalin rush you get while watching fast cars beat each other is just beyond compare. What more would racing against a dim backdrop be? Get to feel the exact same thrill of the F1 night race by playing your Nintendo Wii or PlayStation Portable. Wouldn’t it be great to experience real F1 action right in your own room? The F1 2009 games for consoles will surely be released later this year. Several pictures that were captured during the actual race have been encoded by the game masters. A game feature will showcase some footage taken from the Singapore F1 2009 Street Circuit. If youw ant to know more about it, you can search the internet for the latest Wii games. This is a limited edition game made available for Wii and PSP only and it allows ad hoc mode and a player network of up to four. The F1 singtel Singapore grand prix race game has become iconic because of its interesting game features and great graphics and sounds. It is absolutely a bonafide collector’s item that the entire family and your group of friends will. This is another challenging game for experienced drivers and racing enthusiasts.

People, places, objects, all pass in a blur. There is barely enough oxygen to breath in, more so, time to think. In a few seconds, you’ll reach the next turn. You need to act quickly; otherwise, you’ll fall out of rhythm. Your heart is racing. Sweat drips from your forehead. But a smile is drawn on your face. You feel a unique sensation creep up your spine, making you more sensitive, more creative. Without much hesitation, you turn the wheel completely towards the right then let it go. Smoothly, gracefully, you’re drifting through a perilous cliff side.

And you wonder why people have such an intense fascination over speed! Well, who’s not inclined to experience excitement every now and then? If the movie Fast and Furious confirmed one thing, it is that, speed is pretty much addicting. They say the pursuit of a fast ride gives off a different kind of high. Being somewhat captivated by the thrill, racing enthusiasts have experiment on driving styles, in search for something to quench their thirst for adrenaline-pumping action. They’re looking to modify the act of driving in a way that challenges limitations. The answer they found was “Drifting”.

Drifting is a style or technique in driving wherein the one who’s driving behind the steering wheel intentionally over steers it, causing the loss of grip in the stern wheels through turns, all the while maintaining vehicle control in a high exit speed. The basic driving techniques used in drifting are varying but the execution criteria remains to be the same. Novice drivers might find it difficult to perfect drifting during their first few attempts, but the bottom line is they will surely enjoy the experience.

Drifting competitions are very rampant nowadays. First patronized in Japan, drifting contests have now dominated the U.S. racing scene and is slowly taking over the world. Winning rides are chosen based on or through line, angle, speed and most importantly the show factor. The show factor is actually based on numerous things, such as the amount of smoke, how close the car is to the wall, and the crowd’s reaction. But above everything, the angle at which the car drifts, and the speed it takes on, earns more points. Cars used for drifting are usually light to moderate weight, often times rear-wheel-drive coupes and sedans, ranging from 200-1000bhp.
